Full Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)
Welcome to Myanmar – the golden land of Myanmar. Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, our guide will escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free to recuperate. In the evening, enjoy your Welcome dinner in Karaweik Palace which neglecting the Royal Lake with the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda. A feast of fine Burmese nourishment will be served taken after by a wonderful show of traditional music and dancing. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon Sightseeing (B)
We then visit the hectic Chinese Town to enjoy exotic streets of Yangon downtown and British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings. Finally, move to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see the 70-m long reclining Buddha and Myanmar’s holiest monument.
After breakfast, we start our day by a visit to the sacrosanct Shwedagon pagoda – the foremost noticeable landmark in Yangon where is said to be the storage location of the Buddha relics. Then we take a drive to the Sule Pagoda which was known as one of the oldest pagodas in Myanmar dating back to roughly 2500 years ago. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon – Bagan Discovery (B)
After breakfast, we catch the morning flight from Yangon to Bagan – Myanmar’s archeological site, where more than 3000 ancient temples located.
Upon arrival, we take a glance at the bustling Nyang U market where you may capture the lively look of the local life. Continue to the wonderful gold-leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and explore many new things from the Burmese Buddhist tradition. We then visit Ananda temple and some of the surrounding beautiful temples if time permits. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Bagan (B)
After breakfast, we embark on the excursion to the legend Mt. Popa, which is the foremost sacrosanct location for meditation in Myanmar. 777 steps lead us to Popa Kalat Monastery, time to stop at the Popa National Park with a spectacular panoramic view. On the way return to Bagan, we’ll involvement the palm work, cigar creator and peanut nut oil refining. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 5: Bagan Sightseeing (B)
Today, we’ll experience horse cart riding, going to one of the greatest sanctuaries in Bagan: Nan Paya Pagoda and numerous other sites adjacent. Next, we come to Myinkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple, experience the building distinction in MyaZedi Pagoda before continuing to Manuha temple. The astonishing reward of this day is the sunset moment at the ShweSandaw Pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 6: Bagan – Fly to Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw (B)
Morning flight to Heho, the gateway of Inle Lake. On arrival, we’ll take a pleasant drive to Pindaya region through the poetic countryside of Shan State. Our first visit today is Pindaya Cave with its labyrinth of chambers showing more than 8,000 Buddha statues. Nearby, there are many craftsmanship workshops creating traditional umbrellas from the unique Shan paper. Then, we back to your hotel. Overnight in Kalaw.
Day 7: Kalaw – Kakku – Inle Lake (B)
After breakfast, we start our day with the unique 5 days rotated market. It’s completely a wonderful place to appreciate the scene of local tribes in their colorful dress and involvement in the busy atmosphere.
After that, we take a 2-hour drive to Kakku crossing through the marvelous scene, a railroad line, and the Pa-Oh’s village. In Kakku, there are more than 5200 stupas, some of them are 20 meters tall, and some Buddha pictures scattered throughout. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 8: Inle Lake Discovery (B)
After breakfast, we travel by boat to the Nam Pan village where you’ll spend the time to memorize the canoe carving and cigar making. The boat will bring us to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It will be unquestionably relaxing to walk along the corridor and enjoy the giant columns which have been cleared out to nature for centuries.
Come to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, extremely popular for its richly gilded five small Buddha images, moreover is accepted the holiest in Inle Lake. The next visit is the Ngaphechaung monastery where you can see the collection of numerous amazing Budha pictures, also was known as the Jumping Cat Pagoda. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 9: Inle Lake – Fly to back to Yangon – Departure (B)
After breakfast, you have free time until our car arrives to take us to the airport for the flight back to Yangon. On arrival, prepare yourself to connect the homeward flight. Trip ends.
