Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Arrive in Yangon and meet your local guide before transferring to your hotel for check-in. Begin your private city tour with a drive through downtown Yangon, where colonial-era buildings line the streets, showcasing a unique architectural charm. Visit landmarks such as the historic post office, pass by the Strand area, and explore Mahabandoola Garden with the Independence Monument. Continue to Chauk Htat Kyi Pagoda to see its impressive reclining Buddha. Stop for photos at Karaweik Hall before heading to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, where you can witness local worshippers and enjoy a stunning sunset over the golden stupa.
Day 2: Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura Myanmar’s Enchanting Old Capitals (B)
Fly to Mandalay in the morning, the last royal capital of Myanmar. Upon arrival, explore the city’s cultural highlights, including Mahagandayon Monastery in Amarapura, known for its large monastic community. Visit traditional craft workshops producing gold leaf, wood carvings, and marble sculptures. Stop at a lacquerware workshop to see artisans at work. Visit the renowned Ananda Temple before ending the day with a magical sunset over the Bagan plains.
Day 5: Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake (By private car) (B)
After breakfast, journey overland to Inle Lake, passing through scenic countryside and local villages. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6: Inle Lake (B)
Take a full-day boat tour on Inle Lake. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s most important religious site, and observe local crafts such as silk weaving and blacksmithing.
