Full Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Arrive in Yangon and meet your guide before transferring to your hotel for check-in.
Enjoy a private city tour through downtown Yangon, where colonial-era buildings line the streets, offering a nostalgic atmosphere rarely found elsewhere in Asia. Visit iconic landmarks including the historic Post Office, Strand Road, Mahabandoola Garden, and the Independence Monument.
Continue to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, home to an impressive reclining Buddha statue. Stop for photos at Karaweik Hall, a royal barge-shaped structure on Kandawgyi Lake. End your day at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, where you can witness local devotees and enjoy a stunning sunset over its golden stupa.
Day 2: Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura Myanmar’s Enchanting Old Capitals (B)
Take a morning flight to Mandalay, Myanmar’s last royal capital and a major cultural center.
Explore traditional artisan workshops producing gold leaf, wood carvings, marble sculptures, and tapestries. Visit Shwenandaw Monastery, a beautifully preserved teak structure from the royal palace. Continue to Kuthodaw Pagoda, often referred to as the “world’s largest book.”
In the evening, head to Amarapura to visit U Bein Bridge, the world’s longest teak bridge, and enjoy a picturesque sunset.
Day 3: Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava – Mandalay (B)
After breakfast, visit Mahagandayon Monastery in Amarapura, one of the country’s most significant monastic institutions.
Continue to Ava, once a royal capital, crossing the river by ferry. Explore highlights such as Bagaya Monastery, Nanmyin Tower, and the remains of the royal palace. Travel by horse cart through quiet villages for a glimpse of rural life.
Visit a silk weaving workshop before returning to Mandalay. End the day with panoramic sunset views from Mandalay Hill.
Day 4: Mandalay – Bagan – Exploring the World Heritage Site (By private car) (B)
Drive to Bagan, stopping en route at Mount Popa, an extinct volcano considered a spiritual center. Climb the steps to its hilltop monastery for impressive views.
Arrive in Bagan and begin exploring its vast plain dotted with thousands of ancient temples and pagodas, showcasing remarkable architecture and history.
Day 5: Bagan Exploration (B)
Visit a lively local market to experience daily life in Bagan. Explore nearby villages to gain insight into traditional lifestyles.
Continue touring significant temples, including the elegant Ananda Temple. Stop at a lacquerware workshop to observe local craftsmanship.

Day 6: Bagan – Yangon (B)
Fly back to Yangon in the morning. Visit Bogyoke (Scott) Market, known for handicrafts, jewelry, and souvenirs.
Explore the city’s multicultural heritage with visits to St. Mary’s Cathedral, Sule Pagoda, and the historic synagogue. Walk through Little India and Chinatown, where vibrant street life and local vendors create a lively atmosphere.
